Android Developer (Full-Time)

Sociable is growing at a massive rate, and we are looking for a seasoned Android Developer to help us build our next generation Android app.The projects on our plate are amazing, and we're looking for talented people to meet the exciting technical challenges we face. If you're an intelligent and highly ambitious Android Developer, we want to talk to you!

In this Android Engineer role, you will:

  • Develop new features / games and fix bugs for the Sociable Android app
  • Work closely with Backend Engineers to deploy exciting new Sociable features
  • Work with graphics team to design and wireframe modern interfaces

We're looking for:

  • 1+ year(s) experience developing rich Android mobile consumer facing apps
  • Game development experience is a HUGE PLUS
  • Expert level experience with the Android SDK
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous web services
  • Experience with Android animations
  • Familiarity with design concepts
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Strong object-oriented and architectural skills
  • Experience with Git
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Very strong or expert in Java
  • Fluency in English is a plus

iOS Developer (Full-Time)

We're looking for an experienced iOS Developer to contribute to the continual improvement of the Sociable experience for our users. We're open to your ideas for cool interactions and interesting ways to bring people together. The best ideas - from any source - are acted on quickly here. In this iOS Developer role, you will:

  • Develop new features / games and fix bugs for the Sociable iOS app
  • Work closely with Backend Engineers to deploy exciting new Sociable features

With our iOS Developer, we're looking for:

  • Experience developing, releasing, and maintaining native iOS applications (point us to your work in the App Store)
  • Game development experience, SpriteKit, cocos2d is a HUGE PLUS
  • Deep knowledge of Objective-C
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment and experience with Git
  • A BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering from a top school, but a wonderful project list trumps all
  • Experience with advanced animations & transitions using Core Animation, UIKit Dynamics and/or Pop
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous web services

Junior UI/UX Designer (Full-Time/Part-Time)

Sociable is growing at a massive rate, and we are looking for an UI / UX Designer to help us design our next generation mobile and web applications. The projects on our plate are amazing, and we're looking for talented people to meet the exciting technical challenges we face. If you're an intelligent and highly ambitious UI / UX Designer, we want to talk to you!

As a UI/UX Designer, you will:

  • Work closely with our senior UI / UX design lead
  • Create innovative, beautiful and usable UI/UX designs and games for iOS, Android and web using Photoshop, Sketch 3, Illustrator
  • Design marketing materials such as HTML emails, posters, social media post designs etc.

We're looking for:

  • BS degree or student in visual communications and design, UI/UX design or related field, or self-taught
  • A passion for problem-solving, design and UI/UX
  • Photoshop experience is a must, Sketch 3 and Illustrator experience is a plus
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS is a plus
  • Design portfolio is a must
  • Self-starter with excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills

Front End Developer (Full-Time/Part-Time)

As a Front End Developer, you will:

  • Build next-generation web applications with a focus on the client side.
  • Work closely with UI / UX designers, project managers and back-end engineers to implement awesome user experience.
  • Launch, iterate and make a difference. Provide front-end coding expertise, and be ready to make Sociable better for our users.
  • Focus on high-end performance web UIs for mobile and tablet browsers.

We're looking for:

  • Junior to Mid to expert level front-end experience
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience

Junior Test and Support Engineer (Full-Time)

As a Junior Test and Support Engineer, you will:

  • Execute overall testing lifecycle for iOS, Android and web applications
  • Design and implement manual and automated test cases
  • Test app performance, usability, hardware/software compatibility
  • Write software to test software
  • Execute test plans based on functional specifications
  • Responsible for the technical support to our end-users around the globe

We're looking for:

  • New grad to 2 years experience
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Experience with mobile test automation frameworks (Ex: UI Automator, Robotium, KIF, Calabash) is a HUGE PLUS
  • Speaks and writes English and Turkish fluently.
  • Extremely strong communication and follow-up skills. You can speak both engineer and human.
  • Flexible work-hours: full-time, weekends and late nights as needed
  • Must be a creative problem solver; able to think outside the box when challenging support issues present themselves.

You will be in charge of our global marketing efforts. You will also analyze data, identify trends, craft strategies, work with cross-functional teams, measure impact, and support wide-scale product implementation and rollout.

As a Growth Associate, you will:

  • Be in charge of Facebook, Twitter ads
  • Responsible for App Store Optimization (ASO)
  • Work with our global marketing partners
  • Work closely with International translators
  • Establish growth and engagement KPIs and goals
